Treasurer Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind Maulana Haseeb passes away

Deoband, 12 Jan 2019 [Fik/News Sources]: National Treasurer of Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind, Maulana Haseeb passed away after suffering from heart attack. He was 83. Religious scholars, political and social personalities thronged at his residence at Shah Bukhari locality here to have his last glimpse.

Maulana Haseeb was the student of Shaikhul Islam Maulana Husain Ahmed Madani. His death is a great loss for the community. His son and acting manager of Muslim Fund Deoband, Sohail Siddiqui said Maulana Haseeb died after a short illness.

Maulana was laid to rest at Qasmi graveyard in the presence of thousands of mourners.

Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind in its condolence message has expressed grief over Maulana’s death.
