Mob attack on Madrasa where Mohammad Azeem was killed

New Delhi, 02 Dec 2018 [Fik/News Sources]: The residents of  Balmiki Camp attacked  on  premises of Jamia Faridya, the madrasa  where Mohammad Azeem an eight-year-old was beaten to death by four minor boys one month ago.

The residents of  adjacent colony attacked on the premises of madrasa and started stone pelting on us around 5: 30 pm on Friday, told Maulana Mumtaz  to Muslim Mirror.

When I saw the mob pelting stone on us I tried to pacify them, meanwhile a stone struck my head and I started bleeding. I was taken to hospital where i got six stitches .All these happened when the police personnel were present, he added.

On October 26, Mohammad Azeem  the student of Jamia Faridya sustained an internal injury on his head and die after he was beaten by the youths of the same locality in south Delhi’s Malviya Nagar.

The vacant land in front of the madrasa has been a fighting pitch for a decade. The mosque claims the land belongs to it, while colony residents say it is public.
