Six arrested, illegal sand worth Rs 1.25 cr seized

Mangaluru, 28 Nov 2018 [Fik/News Sources]: Six persons were arrested by Konaje police arrested for  illegal transportation of sand from near Talapadi Tollgate under Ullal police station limits in the wee hours of Monday, November 26.

Six truck-loads of sand, valuing Rs 1.25 crore was confiscated during the operation.

A team of police personnel comprising AC Rama Rao of Mangalore South sub-division, Konaje police inspector Ravi Naik, constables Ashok Kumar, and driver Jnyanaprakash participated in the operation.
