Byndoor: Police constable on night rounds killed in accident

Byndoor, 15 Nov 2018 [Fik/News Sources]: In a tragic accident that occurred on NH 66 of Udupi district on the early morning of Thursday, November 15, a police constable belonging to the Byndoor police station lost his life.

Nagesh Billava is the unfortunate person who lost his life in this tragedy. Nagesh was doing night duty and was riding his bike when this mishap took place. His bike collided against the truck that was parked by the roadside near the national highway at Kambadakone. Nagesh died of severe bleeding due to the impact of the accident.

Byndoor police station personnel visited the spot and are taking necessary action.

Nagesh Billava had married just five months ago. SP Laxman Nimbargi visited the spot in the early morning of Thursday and is personally coordinating with the post-mortem examination and handing over of the mortal remains of Nagesh to his family members.
