Life of U.K district fishermen under house arrest in Iran is in precario: Central govt. urged to pay

Bhatkal, 13 Nov 2018 [Fik/News Sources]: The 18 fishermen from several parts of Uttar Kannada district, who have been arrested by the Iranian officials for last four months after they allegedly strayed into Iranian waters, have once again urged through a video to the External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj to get them released. 

The Iranian Navy officers have confined them for allegedly entering Iranian waters while fishing off the Dubai coast.

 The Tanzeem organization, which has requested the state government to pressurize the central government in getting them released, has also requested the Ministry of External Affairs to take measures in getting fishermen back safely.
