Polya crude bomb explosion: Explosives supplier arrested

Puttur, 30 Oct 2018 [Fik/News Sources]: Puttur police arrested another accused who supplied explosives to blast a house at Polya in Kabaka village on Mani-Mysuru road on October 15, in Mysuru.

The arrested has been identified as Murugesh (37) of Chilkunda in Hunsur taluk in Mysuru district. Following the information provided by accused Babu alias Balan who is in police custody regarding blasting the house belonging to Narayana Prasad, the police have arrested Murugesh on charges of supplying the explosives.

Under the direction of SP Dr. Ravikanthe Gowda and guidance of ASP V.J. Sajeeth, the Puttur police led by DySP Srinivas B.S. and Circle Inspector Thimmappa Nayak arrested the accused. SI Ajay Kumar D.N., head constables Jayaram and Damodara, constables Harish, Manjunath and Cholappa participated in the operation.
