KSRTC to run special buses for Dasara holidays

Bengaluru, 17 Oct 2018 [Fik/News Sources]: Along with the existing Vegaduta, Karnataka Vaibhava, Rajahamsa, Airavata and Airavata Club Class bus service, the KSRTC has decided to run special bus service of additional buses from various places of the state and country to witness Mysuru Dasara festival during the holidays.

In a press release, the KSRTC said that during Dasara holidays, the corporation is running around 2,500 additional buses from Bengaluru to other places from October 17 to 22. These buses would start from Kempegowda Bus Stand, Mysuru Road Bus Stand and Shantinagar Bus Stand. From October 20-21, these buses would ply from other places to Bengaluru. These buses would ply to Dharmasthala, Kukke Subramanya, Sringeri, Horanadu, Shivamogga, Madikeri, Mangaluru, Davangere, Gokarna, Kollur, Hubballi, Dharwad, Belagavi, Vijayapura, Karwar, Ballary, Hosapete, Kalaburagi, Raichur and other places and Hyderabad, Chennai, Ooty, Kodaikanal, Salem, Tiruchirappalli, Pudukottai, Madurai, Panaji, Shiradi, Poona, Ernakulam, Palghat, and other places.

From Mysuru Road Bus Stand, total 150 buses would ply to Mysuru and surrounding places like Chamundi Hills, KRS, Brindavana, Srirangapatna, Nanjanagudu and other places and another 150 vehicles to connect Madikeri, Mandya, Malavalli, HD Kote, Chamarajanagar, Hunasur, KR Nagar, Gundlupete and other places, the press release said.
