RGH Scheme: Beneficiaries asked to upload information from Sep 25

Mangaluru, 24 Sep 2018 [Fik/News Sources]: The Minister for Urban Development and Housing UT Khader said the beneficiaries under Rajiv Gandhi Rural Housing Corporation Ltd. (RGRHCL) can upload information through online from September 25.

Addressing the reporters at Circuit House on Sunday, September 23 Khader said, "earlier there was some technical problems while uploading the information online. Though beneficiaries are asked to upload necessary information online from September 5 to September 20, they could not do so as there were some technical problems. Those who did not upload the information so far can upload information online from September 25 till next 15 days. If there are any problems, beneficiaries can approach Panchayath Development Officers."

"There is a plan to construct around four lakh new houses under Rajiv Gandhi Housing Corporation scheme in the state. Equal preferences will be given to both urban and rural areas while distributing houses. In the urban area, apartments will be constructed, wherein single and double bedroom houses will be built. In order to select new beneficiaries under this scheme, the income limit will be fixed at either Rs 87,000 or Rs 1.2 lakh per annum. However, the final decision will be taken only after discussing with the chief minister," he said.

When asked about less waterflow in the rivers Khader said that an expert committee will be constituted to find the exact reason for less water flow in the rivers. Meanwhile, he clarified that he has not received any complaints with regard to summer vacations being cut short.

The opposition party will not succeed in its effort

Responding to a query on coalition government and BJP's effort to topple the government, Khader said, ``the opposition party BJP has been trying to destabilise the government through its repeated attempts. Instead of providing suggestions and guidance to the ruling party, it is trying to lure the MLAs in order to come to power. However, their effort will not yield any positive result."
