Karnataka stands 14th in the precarious Momo challenge

Bengaluru, 08 Sep 2018 [Fik/News Sources]: The Karnataka state is ranked 14th rank in a game called 'Momo Challenge' in the last three months.

Momo challenge is a game that offers tasks online. First comes the link from an unknown number to your Whatsapp inbox or any of the social media accounts. If we click the link, it will gradually assign different tasks and finally triggers suicide said sources.

The northeastern states like Sikkim, Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur and Meghalaya hold first five places respectively.

The police of Kerala, Odisha and West Bengal have already issued warnings against this game.

Do not respond to the messages from unknown numbers or do not click links sent through social media, said the police.

The 'Momo Game' challenge is also said to be a successor of the notorious 'Blue Whale Game'
