Hyderabad, 16 July 2018 [Fik/News Sources]: The family members of late Mohammed Azam demanded the government to take stern action against the persons who spread fake news and also the mob which indulges in killing innocent persons.
Mohammed Akram, brother of late Mohammed Azam while talking to the news reporter of Siasat Urdu Daily told that it is very tragic that social media is being misused in the era of modern technology as a result of which, innocent human beings are being killed. He demanded TS Govt. to get the details of the incident from Govt. of Karnataka and probe into it so that the incident of mob killing could be probed.
He further told that his brother, Mohammed Azam fell prey to the rumours on social media.
The appearance of Mohammed Azam does not show that he was a child lifter but he was targeted as a result of spreading rumours on social media. He also told that his family is very much aggrieved with this incident. Azam’s father, Mr. Mohammed Osman is a railway employee. Mohammed Azam had married recently and he has a son.
It may be recalled that Mohammed Azam along with his friends was going to Bidar. On their way, they stopped at Murki Village for taking tea and refreshment. They offered chocolates brought from Qatar to the children of the village. The villagers suspected them to be child lifters and attacked them.
