Bhtakal Police Raid at the gambling spot, Six arrested

Bhatkal, 05 July 2018 [Fik/News Sources]: On Tuesday night Bhatkal Rural Police has a raided at a gambling spot near the Gorte school of Bhatkal and six were arrested.

All the accused were from the Moger community, i.e Timmaiah Moger (30), Deepak Moger (28), Bagesh Moger (25), Venkataramana Moger (28), Nagendra Moger (31) and Chandrakanth Moger (27), all are resident of Bhatkal.

Around 9:30 pm a team led by Bhatkal Rural PSI Ravi GA, raided the public place at the Gorte school of Bhatkal, was this six were playing gambling, the police arrested them and also sized the cash of ₹. 5180/-, a pack of 52 cards, 2 used candles and a polythene bag from the spot.

The case is registered in the Bhatkal Rural Police Station.
