Muslim Forum urges Cong high command to deny ticket to Firoz Sait

Belagavi, 26 Mar 2018 [Fik/News Sources]: The Muslim Forum has threatened to go against the Congress party if it gives ticket to present MLA Feroz Sait to contest from north constituency.

Speaking to reporters in Sunday, CKS Nazir, Ex-Wakf Board Chairman alleging MLA Firoz Sait of nepotism, said that the MLA of destroying the democratic values in all institutions within his range.

Mismanagement of development funds ND neglecting the poor, especially Muslims have become an integral part of his administration, he said.

He also alleged that MLA Sait is the reason behind escalating tension between two communities repeatedly in Belagavi city. "He sparked violence between two communities for his political mileage. Due to his attitude, more than 1800 youths in Belagavi city have been booked in police stations.

Therefore forum strongly urges Congress high command to take serious note of public anger against Firoz Sait and not give ticket to him to contest in north constituency," he said.

Sayed Javid Pacha Inamdar, Hasham Bavikatti, Babulal Bagwan, Dastagir Aga, Faizulla Madiwale, Firdos Darga, Azim Patavegar were present.
